Jared Lamenzo is a multimedia producer and artist. His work has been shown internationally, and as a musician, he has worked with Grammy award-winning artists and Billboard artists. Always eager to synthesize new fields and technologies, he graduated from the NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, where his work drew upon his scientific and artistic backgrounds. Previously, he worked at a boutique investment bank and hedge fund in New York specializing in complex and distressed situations. His team was the first to use the Internet in the context of a bankruptcy proceeding; ironically, it was for the Hayes modem company, at the beginning of the tech bust. He is a graduate of Harvard, where he concentrated in Applied Mathematics and Engineering, and developed a mathematical model of an elevator into Earth orbit based on a novel by Arthur C. Clarke. In his spare time, he is spearheading Erben Renewal, the restoration of an historic 19th-century Henry Erben pipe organ in NYC. E-Mail: jared [at] mediatedspaces [dot] com. |
